6th April 2019 Work has started to install the first phase of the green wall at the Ashford Designer Outlet, it is currently considered to be the UK’s largest hydroponic, sustainable, living wall project. March 2019 Here at ALD we have been fortunate to be getting to grips with BIM! Several staff have taken part in either refresher sessions or more in depth sessions in the last 5 weeks. Its certainly been a fun process and initially several crazy structures were built. But that probably reflects some projects aspirations in real life!

S1 Roof / Roof Terrace

7th March 2019   Kym had the opportunity to visit the S1 roof at Kings Cross. The upper roof is a sedum blanket and is looking good and very healthy. The accessible roof terrace is also looking clean, crisp and considered a success. The effect is created through a simple palette of materials, laid with good coordination and installation to full product sizes and coordinated units / planters / bench and timber layouts.
