Somers Town Bridge, Kings Cross

Spanning across Regents Canal, Somers Town Bridge provides a vital link towards Triplets Park and Kings Cross Central. Designed by MOXON Architects, it's sleek appearance blends seamlessly in with the areas heritage.

ALD were involved in delivering the detailed design, developing the interfaces with the adjacent Triplets Park finishes, and the approaching ramp and adjoining balustrade. The balustrade itself posed numerous challenges with it's upright members transitioning gradually from timber to metal, whilst each upright is positional at an angle to reflect the bridge.
